Dear Friends, Family & Followers,
On January 19,2009,Women Get Rich Too! was conceived. It was, well uh.. sort of an impulsive move on my part. At this point in time, I question what I was thinking to, publicly, divulge my New Years Resolution and to commit to taking you all with me. My goal remains, the path still clear, but my commitment and focus has waxed and waned.
Throughout the course of maintaining this blog, I have slowly designed a business plan for the official Women Get Rich Too! Some of you may have even received emails regarding the launch of our website. I have also fallen short on the financial advice and heavy on the personal growth portion of the topic of financial freedom. And, well... both of those points is what brings me to this note!
As of today I am going to make two new official commitments to all of you!
1. There will be an official website, and it will remain closely attached to the original business plan design. However, it will be put on hold for now. I want to do it right, and I want Women Get Rich Too! to offer the greatest possible support and services to the ideal target population. With that, I am going to have to work on what becomes commitment number two in this post.
2. Women Get Rich Too! will focus on serving a very specific population of women. This group of women will be further described in another post - but in a nutshell, they are in the very early stages (i.e. much like the me described in the poorly written January 19, 2009 post) of embarking on obtaining richer and fuller lives. I have struggled internally with this from the beginning. My intentions were to offer tools and tips to generate financial freedom in the lives of women. However, I very quickly realized that my strengths exist in identifying personal inhibitors to success and empowering women to overcome those. So THAT is what Women Get Rich Too! will do. We are a start at the beginning project and when you outgrow us, we will pass you to more financially savvy gurus! Sound good?
