First of all, obstacles are self-placed and therefore, are for you to remove. No! I mean it. I realize that all things that inhibit your moving toward success were not created by you. However, your willingness to view them as obstacles is completely on you and you alone.
Take Oprah, for example. Described as the unlikely hero, she rose past poverty and pain to become a worldwide inspiration. She didn't sign on to quick money making opportunities and sit back waiting on her windfall. Her retirement plan never consisted of daily lottery ticket purchases. She worked and believed that her work could impact the lives of many. She didn't know this from experience or from viewing it in the lives of others just like her. She did this by believing even before seeing. She believed that there was a purpose for her existence beyond what she had been shown, taught, or told. Believing, well before seeing is what lead to Oprah's undying success and it is the only thing that will lead you to yours.
It's time to begin viewing challenges and obstacles as opportunities to work harder at fulfilling your dreams. These challenges require that you to ask, "How serious am I about my goal?" Believing in your abilities even well before you have developed them is key to achieving them.
